We know how it is around the holidays: We’ve all got a lot of feelings. It’s hard to resist the urge to dole out hugs to everyone you know, so how about a drink that hugs you back? Our take on the hot toddy, which infuses bourbon with subtle tropical flavor and warming winter spices like cinnamon and cloves, will hit you right in the warm-and-fuzzies. As an added bonus, it’ll make your home smell fantastic—making it the perfect thing to have simmering on the stove as your holiday guests arrive. This recipe makes one drink, but it can easily scale up to serve a crowd. Trust us, you’re going to want to share.







The Sweet Spot

Ingredients:
1.5 oz bourbon
3 oz Owl’s Brew Piña Colada Mixer
1 tablespoon honey
Lemon
Cinnamon stick
Whole cloves


In a small saucepan, heat mixer to a simmer. Combine bourbon, honey, and squeeze of lemon in mug, then top with hot mixer. Stir with cinnamon stick. Garnish with whole cloves and lemon wedge.
